A full life starts with a home that feels truly yours.
Community Living
Community Living is more than housing. It builds independence, strengthens community connection and cultivates meaningful relationships. Each home reflects individual choices and preferences, creating spaces that are safe, beautiful and accessible for a life of dignity, belonging and growth.

What Life Looks Like
Community Living means having the freedom to make choices and the support to thrive. People enjoy routines that support independence, from planning meals and shopping locally to exploring their neighborhoods and joining community activities. It’s about living fully, feeling connected and knowing you belong, with opportunities for unforgettable experiences like our Search for Adventure travel program, which offers inclusive trips designed to create joy, discovery and lasting memories.
Community Activities
Opening Doors for Community Life for Adults With I/DD
Search360 supports our individuals so they stay active, engaged and connected through a wide variety of community-based interactions. Our programs feature a range of activities, including volunteering, recreational excursions and cultural events, all designed to promote independence, social connectivity and inclusion.
By participating in community activities across Chicagoland, the people we support build friendships, explore new interests and contribute their talents in meaningful ways.
24-Hour CILA Homes Through the DD Waiver
Our Community Living program offers Community Integrated Living Arrangements (CILAs) for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), with 24-hour support for all aspects of daily life.
Often referred to as group homes, these residential settings provide access to quality medical care, counseling and therapies when needed. Community Day Services and Career Services are also available.
Homes are in welcoming neighborhoods across Chicago, Skokie, Mount Prospect and Morton Grove.
