Helping You Navigate Life After School

Youth Services

Transitioning from school to adulthood is a big step, and no one should have to take it alone. Our Youth Services program helps young people and their families build confidence, skills and connections as they move beyond the public school system.

What Youth Services Offer

After graduation, many young people and their families face new challenges when school support ends. Youth Services provides guidance and opportunities to help them prepare for adulthood. Participants explore career interests, gain hands-on work experience, learn workplace skills and build confidence through self-advocacy. We also partner with schools and organizations to offer informational sessions on adult services, providing families the resources they need to plan for the future. If you are a school or community leader interested in a session, please reach out via our contact form below.

Youth Services Through DRS Transition Supports

Youth Services is offered in partnership with the Illinois Division of Rehabilitation Services (DRS) as a comprehensive School-to-Work program, providing key Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS). It is designed for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) who are preparing to successfully graduate high school, qualify for DRS funding and need support planning for life after school and future employment.
Families also receive guidance and resources to make this process easier, ensuring every student has the tools and confidence to take the next step toward adulthood and career success.
