Disability Awareness Trainings

Our Disability Awareness Trainings teach organizations to integrate disability-aware customer service and employment practices into core business strategies.
Our Players, a dynamic and interactive troupe of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, lead the trainings. Established in 2009, they have trained over 20,000 people at businesses, theaters, libraries, schools, trade associations, nonprofit organizations and corporations. Their lived experiences not only inspire self-advocacy but also empower businesses and organizations to foster healthy environments and cultures for prospective hires, customers, and current employees with disabilities.

NeurodiVERSED

NeurodiVERSED workshops are designed to address common misconceptions and misinformation surrounding people who identify as neurodivergent, as well as to challenge the harmful narrative that mental illness and disabilities are conditions to be “cured.”
Participants will gain insight into different types of neurodivergence and learning styles, explore practical ways to offer support and engage in a guided discussion focused on creating more inclusive, supportive and affirming environments.
