Salary: $57,000–$60,000/Year
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10:00 a.m-6:00 p.m., with flexible hours as needed.
About the Role: As a Behavioral Health Clinic Therapist, you will work with adults both in the community and at our program sites. You will develop treatment plans, provide therapy, support clients with daily challenges and offer case management services.
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week). Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required based on client needs.
Clinical Supervision: Free clinical supervision may be available for qualified candidates.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide supportive counseling to help clients cope with emotions, solve problems and work toward their goals
- Assess each client’s strengths and needs
- Create and carry out treatment plans centered around each client
- Document all services, progress and assessments in the database following Medicaid rules and agency policy
- Facilitate individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, community support and case management when needed
- Complete Medicaid and Managed Care billing notes within 48 hours
- Follow all Medicaid, Managed Care and agency rules and requirements
- Complete other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
- A master’s or doctoral degree in counseling, rehabilitation counseling, social work, psychology, pastoral counseling, family therapy, or a related field
- 1,000 hours of supervised practicum/internship OR one year of clinical experience under a QMHP
- A valid driver’s license, car insurance and reliable transportation to travel between sites
- Strong computer, writing and communication skills
- Ability to pass all required background checks
