Lead Direct Support Professional (DSP)

About the Role: As a Lead DSP, you will support individuals with everyday tasks like cooking, personal care and going out in the community. You will plan fun and meaningful activities, help keep the home clean and safe and assist with medications. You will also guide and support other DSP team members to make sure quality care is provided at all times.

This role is great for someone who enjoys helping others, working as part of a team and taking on leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Support people with daily tasks like meal prep, personal care and community outings.
• Create engaging, meaningful activities to enhance their daily lives.
• Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment.
• Assist with medication and ensure proper documentation.
• Lead and support a team of DSPs to provide quality care.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One year of experience at Search (Preferred)
• Ability to lift up to 44 lbs. and perform physical tasks
• Valid driver’s license and insurance
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Availability to work weekends
